How it's Made

Khan Academy is a non-profit aiming to offer a free world-class education to everyone, everywhere. They primarily focus on K-12 education and make short videos interwoven with practice problems to encourage mastery learning across a variety of subjects. Project ulim aims to expand upon this style, taking it beyond K-12 and focusing primarily on college level content while retaining the same feel of Khan Academy courses.

MIT OpenCourseWare has been a leader in online education as they provide entire MIT courses to the public for free. These courses often include lecture videos, practice problems, lecture notes, recitation videos, assignments, and exams. Project ulim attempts to improve upon them by making the lecture and recitation videos into short videos that resemble the Khan Academy style. Additionally, the practice problems and exams have been made into question banks.

Project ulim is not formally associated with Khan Academy or MIT OpenCourseWare. All of the content being remixed and adapted has been attributed to its original creators and is being used for educational purposes. Please check out Khan Academy, MIT OpenCourseWare, and consider donating to them!
